Heloise & The Savoir Faire will release her long awaited sophomore LP Diamond Dust  on March 26^th, 2013 via Elijah Wood’s Simian Records. The album was conceived and largely recorded in her two homes in the Northeast – Vermont and NYC- and was produced by both Shy Child’s Pete Cafarella and duo “Bassy” Bob Brockman and Eric Gorman (Notorious B.I.G., Mary J. Blige, TLC).Diamond Dust marks a new direction for the solo artist featuring a more stripped down sound and live show, showcasing her powerhouse vocal styling’s and songwriting prowess. Heloise has created her very own brand of what she calls “heart-on-your-sleeve dance music.”

Diamond dust is a meteorological phenomenon, a cloud of tiny ice crystals caused when a cloud of fog freezes. The fact that Heloise and the Savoir Faire’s sophomore album is named for that very phenomenon is no coincidence – both are atmospheric events, but only one involves dance music inspired by the patterns of the human condition. The electro-pop pioneer, singer and performance artist has built a career out of mapping new sonic topography, pushing out through the territories of funk, dance-pop and R&B with her powerful pipes, as on 2008′s Trash, Rats and Microphones. That debut album received critical acclaim from the likes of Vanity Fair, Marie Claire, BUST, Blender, URB and more. Heloise performed on the UK’s Graham Norton show, and album track “Odyle” continues to be the theme song for Bravo’s “The Rachel Zoe Project.” Debbie Harry even leant her vocal talents on a track.

Diamond Dust represents all that same energy plumbing brand new emotional depths. Burnished by anxiety and gilded in certainty, Williams’ latest is the sum of lab experiments, self-imposed northern exiles and mythology. The album’s DNA owes as much to C.S. (“He sort of looks like a founding father,” offers Williams.)   

Diamond Dust is ultimately a product of love and creative instinct. Heloise creates the musical children of her wild imagination and downright exceptional skill. The product is 100 % her own.
